i'm trying to be enthu, at least i wore a white based tee and painted my nails red. its difficult being all excited when the theme song ain't as catchy as before, when the weather is so freaking hot i just wanna wear whats comfy and get into a shopping mall with blasting aircon asap. its the best time to get into sma building. it's totally freezing in there, even with a jacket.
but still, we went squeezing with people outside marina sq in view of live fireworks. and inconsiderate ppl smoke like there's no tmrw with so many others around them, i was coughing like mad pls. rolleyes.
i bought brown contacts from queensway the day before. rather cheap, its's $33 for 2 boxes. i got one in brown(honey amber) and one in blue(skyblue). since the last pair i wore was blue, i decided to try the brown one first this time, but they look so unnatural. i think i prefer blue contacts now. at least i get to look angmoh, rather than in brown, i think i look indo-chinese, or i just look like i'm wearing contacts. looks v fake. not what i like.
we dined at BAO TODAY(bao jin tian) at marina sq, had tim sum before watching the fireworks.

its a hugggeee cup of yuan yang. i got bored drinking after sometime, makes me wanna puke if i drink somemore. good value though, $1.80.went walking around after, played arcade. i won the arcade king TWICE at daytona!! HEH. and we walked pass this machine on the way out, it's suppose to get this thing to poke a specific target and the prize door will open and you get to take the prize from inside. we saw this lady doing it with ease, so baby decided that he wanna try too! the machine is called "marksman".
i was pretty skeptical since i've always thought this kinda machine is out to cheat money, and one try is $2, not the usual $1. but then since baby says he's pretty confident, i thought we'd just give it a try. missed the first time, but he got it the 2nd time!!! :D it was the cyan colour care bear! and so i said, i wanted the yellow one too, so another try, and he got it too!! that's $6 for 2 care bears, YIPEEEE!!

kuku me didn't know how to use the rec function for this particular cam. ended up i didn't take down the most exciting one at the end. it was superb but nothing compared to the fireworks festival. they must have kept too much during the previews, then just realised they my as well blast everything since it useless keeping it too.
traffic home was terrible but we managed to squeeze back. the ones worth pitying are the little toddlers. i wonder why do their parents wanna bring them to such a hot and stuffy place and they get trap in the midst.
